'LE ROSSIGNOL' is one of four properties which have been tastefully modernised while retaining mainy of their original features and charm The two story cottage has been converted from an ancient barn. On the ground floor is a double bedroom with en-suite toilet and washbasin, and a luxury shower room with large shower, marble vanity unit and toilet. The lounge area has sofa, chairs, book case, TV, DVD and CD players, and six place dining table and chairs. The spacious kitchen has a large range of base and wall cupboards, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave oven, full size gas cooker, extracter fan, electric kettle, toaster, coffee maker, end plenty of crockery, cutlery etc. A curving, stone and wooden staircase leads to the upper level. There is a child gate fitted to the bottom of the stairs and a removable gate for the top or the bedroom door if neccessary. Upstairs is a second double bedroom and a twin bedroom, both with exposed beams and stone walls. The cottage is light bright and airy, with stone walls and tiled floors predominant throughout. Going south, the beautiful, historic town of La Rochelle is 25 minutes away. The Puy du Fou, Venise Verte, Futuroscope are all within eay reach. Lucon, our nearest town, has all the facilities you are likey to need.Birdwatchers, cyclists, golfers and fishermen, will all have the time of there lives here.
